Does anyone know why it’s called Oklahoma Dip? At least I don’t, but what I do know is that this dip is one of the most-requested recipe!
If you are looking for a quick something to whip up with your family/friend for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve or any party, then this is it! Oklahoma Dip is super easy to make and a real crowd-pleaser!
Sausage (If you like some heat, simply use a spicy sausage instead, of course the mild one would also work fine.) – 1 lb
Ground Sirloin or Ground Beef – 2 lbs
Medium-size Onion – 1
Original Flavor Velveeta (cut into chunks) – 2 lbs
Shredded Cheddar Cheese – 8 oz
Rotel Tomatoes – 2 cans
Step 1 – Brown the prepared sirloin/beef, sausage and onion together. Drain them afterward.
Step 2 – Now just add all other ingredients (the Velveeeta, Cheddar cheese, and tomatoes). Cook and mix them well until the Cheddar cheese is melted.
Step 3 – It’s all ready! Serve in a bowl/pot (If you would like to keep it warm and gooey, serve it in a crock pot)
Step 4 – Last but not least, don’t forget to buy some chips for dipping!
